For writers

Get paid per finished article, every Friday.

No bidding, no client calls, no chasing invoices. Claim what you can write, write it, and get paid when it clears editing.

Apply to write

Two writing samples. That is the whole application.

How claiming works

You pick the work, not a manager

Approved writers see a board of available articles. Every one carries the brief before you commit to it.

Read the brief first

Title, main keyword, length, tone, audience, whether links and references are wanted, and the client's website for context. You claim after reading it, not before.

5 hours to submit

That is the honest number, and it is per article. Claim what you can finish. If the clock runs out the article goes back to the board with your draft intact — you lose the claim, not the work, and you can reclaim it if it is still there.

Your tools are yours

We do not require, forbid, or check for AI tools. What we check is whether the article is worth a reader's time and matches the brief. Bring whatever gets you there.

You never see who the client is — only their website and their brief. Articles you are working on sit at Being written until you submit, and then move out of your hands.

Editors

Someone reads everything you write

Every article goes to a human editor before the client sees a word of it. That is a filter, and it is also the most useful feedback loop you will get from a content job.

An editor either approves your submission, fixes it themselves, or sends it back with notes. When they fix it themselves, you see exactly what they changed — the polish diff comes back to you, sentence by sentence. Most writers stop making the same three mistakes within a fortnight.

A send-back is not a rejection and costs you nothing. It comes with a note about what actually needs to change and a fresh 5-hour clock to change it. The article is still yours and it still pays the same when it completes.

Clients can request revisions on delivered articles too. Those come back to you first, with a 3-hour window to pick them up before they are offered more widely.

  1. Being writtenYou claim it and draft it.
  2. In editingYou submit. An editor reads it.
  3. Revision in progressSent back with notes, or revised later at the client's request — a fresh clock either way.
  4. Ready for your reviewThe editor passes it and the client can finally read it.
  5. CompleteIt completes, and your earning is recorded against it.
Getting paid

A fixed rate, every Friday

One rate, one rhythm, and a running total you can check at any time.

Earned at completion

An article earns once it completes — after the editor has approved it and the client has taken delivery. Your dashboard shows what has accrued and what is still moving.

Batched every Friday

Everything that completed during the week is paid out together, to the M-Pesa number on your profile. One payment, not one per article.

Yours to keep

If a client later disputes or reverses a payment, that is between them and us. Work you finished is still paid.

Amounts are recorded against each article at the moment you earn them. If the rate changes later, articles you have already completed keep the rate they were written at.
